Received delinquent secured property tax notice for 2nd installment of $648.07, June 14 due June 30 (which is included in escrow papers, for tax impound acct).
Received letter from Fairbanks (same day as property tax notice received 6/14), that Fairbanks Capital Corp. Were not collecting escrow, and we are to pay taxes before delinquent!
What did they do with the impound monies? Payment remains the same as first lender (who paid 1st installment). We only heard of this whole matter on Saturday, and have to come up with in less than two weeks. Why did they wait??? Why didn't they pay from impound???
Fairbanks-short history nightmare:
(Fairbanks acquired the original loan, calling us before end of month that we were going to be foreclosed for late payments. We contacted them to find out where to send payments!)
Sequential calls threatened us that our credit rating was endangered (our credit is excellent), and threats of foreclosure prompted harassment and stress to us.
