First Priority Payroll
Do not sign up with this company... Thieves

I signed up with this payroll service in early April. I can't tell you all the confusion with my payroll right from the beginning, but they are very good at appeasing you on the phone. My first HUGE problem began with the end of the second quarter. At that point I was on my last straw with them, and they withdrew $4000 from my bank account for taxes that had already been collected weekly. I threw a HUGE fit and fortunately they did refund that money. At that point I figured no savings in payroll fees is worth this headache so I went back to my original payroll company. Since that time I have found out that First Priority has not paid in full my IRS taxes since May 15, and I owe the federal government over $5000. They messed up my 2nd quarter return and still have yet to fix that (it's now Sept. 1). They sent me a refund check for taxes that I over paid and guess what... That check bounced. They took almost $1000 from my checking account at the end of July for no reason and I have yet to see that money either. So they way I see it they have bilked me out of $6200 give or take. I guess I will now have to hire a lawyer and sue them or report them to the State of RI as a fraudulent company. I am not really experienced in how to do this. I run a very small business and this could put me out of business. If I can please warn you to not sign up with this company then I would be glad that at least I could save someone else from being robbed.
