First of all thanks for having this site! I am a disabled part time priest and was looking for extra money to help me and my church. So, i answered their ad. I received their information but had questions so i called. There was no person to talk with just a hard to understand tape recording telling me where to mail complaints about delivery delays. This sent up a red flag so i decided to look them up on the net and found this site about them.
I guess the old addage that you can't get something for nothing holds true here. I wondered how you could make so much money and also if they were to be my only customer. It seems that the tape says all questions are answered by the material i came so close to ordering. I was going to get the money order including the outrageous overcharge for first class mail but then decided to splurge and get the next day service for a total of $55.00.
The only reason was that since i could not talk to a live person i thought the sooner it gets here the sooner i would be making money and esp after doing only 400 envelopes i'd get a $100 refund! But i still wondered in what time frame did i need to get the 400 done to receive the refund.
Remember there is no free lunch and logically how could they pay us $5.00 per envelope with postage and the address already provided? This is a reminder to us all to always check out companies promising the moon for nothing. Any firm that does not have a web site or fax in these modern high tech days is a warning in and of itself, let alone that there is no one to answer questions via the phone. I do know some real firms have phone numbers that when answered tell you that if you have basic questions to send an email and you will get a response which i did.
These people are exactly what they say companies cannot afford anymore, a mailroom service. They have people they pay to send these fraud letters out and therefore the only letters we could possibly be sending would be more letters like each of us received. I guess my prayers were answered by this reporting site as i just felt something was not right and based upon the letters i read i am right to be concerned.
I also note that many of them are quite recent so they must be moving from area to area even here in iowa. Just an ad and a phone number to get the info and when i called the phone number that took my name and address they would not discuss anything telling me it's in the letter i will receive, even though i already have one.
Remember, buyer beware is the rule these days now that so many consumer laws have been removed by the current administration. They do not care about us little people who need to make extra money but cannot work at a regular job.
Again, thanks for letting me get my anger off my chest and i'll pray for those who lost their money
