An extended-previously company of mine had some form of expense consideration with Fidelity, in my own name. I then found out about that a long time later, and requested Fidelity to get a submission. Fidelity stated they'd be happy to deliver a submission, but simply to an address I no further existed at. This might appear ridiculous, however they managed to get clear they might just start the cash by sending it to an incorrect handle. And so I quit.
In Fidelity shut the consideration without caution, shipped a submission check in my experience, and delivered a 1099-R notice towards the government aswell. The check visited the incorrect handle, obviously, and Fidelity claims it had been never banked. I then found out once the government approached me requiring cost of fees.
Fidelity still will not start the cash. I requested Fidelity to atleast correct their 1099-R processing, plus they declined to achieve that aswell. They declined to supply any published paperwork in my experience or other people. The government claims that I actually donot need to spend something easily simply get Fidelity to recognize the mistake written down, but Fidelity will not.
It Is something that Fidelity owes me cash and wont spend; what is troubling, nevertheless, is the fact that they willfully violated federal regulation. I am seeking legal action.
