Taking Money WITHOUT Permission

When my husband and I opened a Dish Network account we were told we would get a free trail for Credit Alert Now. When the trail was about to expire my husband called and cancelled the account. (July)

Months later (Feb. 2009) I realized that Credit Alert was still taking the monthly charge out of our account. My husband called because the service was in his name and he was told we never cancelled, so he cancelled the service for a second time.

In May the company was still taking out a monthly charge so my husband called again and was told "yes, we had cancelled the account" and "no, they didn't understand why we were still being charged". We were told that they were going to do an investigation, however we were given no confirmation number or anything.

Also the lady was extremely rude, unhelpful, and unapologetic about the situation. When my husband asked to speak to a supervisor the woman refused and said she couldn't do that. When my husband asked how long it would take for this "investigation" he was told two weeks; it was already the end of May and he was preparing to deploy in June (which she could have cared less about as well).

The woman also told my husband that the money that had been taken out of our account since Feb. Would be directly deposited back into the acct. (the same way it came out). Well two weeks came and went, we heard nothing from Credit Alert so my husband called back.

The man who answered was complete opposite of the woman, he was nice, apologized, helpful. We recieved a conformation number and was told the exact same thing from him as two weeks prior.

My husband has since deployed and now the ball is in my hands, I haven't heard anything from Credit Alert, no money has deposited in the acct., I can't get ahold of them by telephone (I was on hold for 45 minutes one day), and in the beginning of July guess what they did, they took out another monthly payment.
