I have been in a terrible bind because of medical expenses and related expenses. I received an email offering a 3% loan. I was so desperate that I applied. I was asked to send $210 to cover the transaction. Like a fool, I did. Then this morning, I get an email saying it will cost $399 to open the bank account for the transaction of my loan. I immediately called my bank and put a stop payment for the bank at $399. Now I am out $210, plus $12.60 for the money order, as well as $35 to stop payment. I know that I was a total fool, but as I said, I was desperate. Don't fall for the line "I am a Christian and just want to help people."
