The Marriott in July, Ga. Charged our charge card for an additional evening, whenever we just remained one-night, declaring smoking within the space price $250.00!!! We weren't educated of the at check in, once we might have selected another resort in Augusta. Once we were collecting our issues each morning... We discovered a little card on the table we never had contacted throughout the night. It mentioned the "cleanup charge" onto it... Therefore we invested over one hour washing the area, checking for almost any actually scrap of document, ashes, fits... Actually right down to draining the garbage ourselves and washing the countertops. The statement have been tucked under our doorway while we were asleep and was for that space price of 246.00... Excessive without a doubt.
When the charge card statement came, they'd included one more $250.00, stating we left about the 19th rather than the 18th. A follow up telephone discussion using the supervisor achieved nothing, and he mentioned they'd "images". Images of what??? Us sleeping in a? Your rumpled bed after sleeping inside it??? I had been shocked but still am, by this kind of support. I encourage everybody to prevent the rip off master of resorts... Marriott.
