I am a senior that insured two autos a year ago with AARP Hartford Ins.Co. Thinking I would get a much better rate than other co's.
I just got my new policy which increased 50% over last year, which I made an inquiry about. Hartford's response was gobbly gook about the several factors that MAY have contributed to the increase. Facts are they doubled my collision rate, with no excuse. No tickets, accidents, just the fact my wife and I are a year older. I checked several other co's, and got a quote from Progressive saving me $663.68 for the same policy. Thanks Hartford..
