On the recomendation of AARP we switched our auto insurance policy to The Hartford. After one year we decided to switch back to our previous insurance company. Because The Hartford auto-renewed the policy without notifying us, there was a period of about two weeks in which we were still covered by them. When I informed them of the change they billed us $215.00 for the two weeks? Not exactly a good deal, and certainly not customer friendly.
