Lied about service they could provide/kept the money they were paid

Jon Cannon from Icon payment Solutions came in and proposed to us a processing agreement that could lower the rates we were paying to process cc's. We informed him that we used Qucik books software and that it would have to interface seamlessly with it or that we would not be interested. He not only promised that it would but guaranteed lower rates. We agreed to sign on with Icon and he had us sign agreements with Icon and a lease agreement to lease the equipment needed.

We recieved a call from Charge Anywhere that set up the software to process cc's on our system. After the first transaction we realized that it did not interface with Qucik books as we were promised, rather, it required extra steps to show in Quick books that we had received a payment.

A week or so later we started recieving the equpiment to run the credit cards and realized that we did not have everything we needed to be set up properly. We notified technical service which was a nightmare to deal with. They kept asking why I was requesting specific equpiment and I informed him that I was just telling him what i had been told by Charge Anywhere. I finally had to call Jon Cannon, the sales rep and have him order it. We recieved more equipment and again realized we did not have everything.

We decided that because of the non-compatability issues with the software and the continued screw ups with the equipment that we would cancel with Icon. We called and canceled our processing agreement with them.

We continued to recieve bills from the leasing company for the equipment. We called the leasing company and told them that we had cancelled and that we needed to send the equipment back. They notified me that only Icon could cancel the lease because they had been given the money for the equipment lease. They told me to call Icon and tell thaem to cancel the agreement by sending back the money they received,

To make a long story short, after leaving numerous messages for customer service, Jon Cannon, and also the spineless owner Sean Mecham to cancel the agreement and return the money to the leasing company. Nobody will do anything and nobody will call me back. The equipment has never been hooked up, Icon never provided software they promised they could provide and they are keeping the money that they have been paid by the leasing company. They are thieves and are unwilling to act in an ethical way.

My recommendation to everyone being approached by these people is to run the other way. I would be more than willing to talk to anybody that has questions about them. I have turned them into the FTC and the BBB. If you doubt what I am saying, just do a google search of their company and you will find they are are just as shady as I claim they are.

Just a side note, Jon Cannon claimed that they could interface seamlessly with Quick books, i found out that is an outright lie. Quick books has a processing exclusivity with Intuit, nobody but Intuit can process directly with Qucik books. Beware of all of the scammers out there that say they can.
