Hello,
I recently answered an add on www.craigslist.com about a "work from home" job based on ad processing. Being curious, I emailed about it. A man by the name of Troy Burgess then emailed me (rather quickly) telling me this is a legit job and the reasoning behind the ONE TIME PAYMENT (NO REFUNDS). This is exactly what he told me:
"This is a real opportunity and I do it everyday. I process ads and recruit processors.
You have obviously been able to get a hold of me and I have been prompt. I understand your concerns however if this is not enough then I'm not sure what else I can tell you"
Being sincere as this sounded, I (like a dummy) went for it and sent him my $15.49 to get started. The next thing you know, I was send a 14 page document, being the so called "training material" that basically tells me to do the following to make money:
Step 1: Create an ad on a site (For example:
Step 2: Answer inquiries (answer the emails of all the interested people and explain to them what the job entails)
Step 3: Have the inquiries send you money via
Step 4: Send them the "fake" training material.
So overall, please learn from my mistake and DO NOT TRUST ANY AD PROCESSING JOBS OUT THERE! THEY ARE NOT REAL!
Right now, I have filed a dispute on PayPal so hopefully I get my money back. Wish me luck!
Thanks!
