My husband heard about this cd on FOX News Channel. We thought it would be a trustable company. Boy were we wrong!
I should have been more suspicious when the price went from $3.95 to $4.95, but I just figured it was a dollar. When we didn't get the cd just a note saying that there was a production problem and that we could access the same information from the internet site they sent me, until we received the disc.
I tried to access the site, but it did me no good. We never did get the disc, and I didn't realize that they were taking money out of our bank account. This went on for 4 or 5 months before I caught it. They were taking a $79.95 and a $29.95 payment every month without our approval. I made the first transaction over the phone. There was no mention of further "membership fees ". And if there was, most of the time you talk to someone who can't speak plain and clear english.
I have tried calling the 888 number on my bank statement. I got fed the typical line that they would refund my money and stop all further withdraws. So far neither has happened.
First I was told I would receive the money within 10 to 15 days. When ten days was up I called again. Then was told that policy changed and it would be 15 to 20 days. Now it has been 20 days.
When I tried to call them tonight, I initially got through. After telling them why I was calling, I got put on hold. When the operator came back on the line, said "thank you for.." and we were disconnected.
I have since tried to call them 5 more times and get "The person at ext. 2 is unavailable. Sorry but the users mailbox cannot accept more messages."
Tomorrow I am going to see my States Attorney and see if he can help me. If not I will start contacting local attorneys and see if it is possible to get a Class Action Suit against these con men.
Most of those who bought into this need all of the help we can get, and they are just preying on our desire to find help in surviving financial catastrophy.
