Bank of America does indeed charge excessively high overdraft fees, of up to $35 per occurrence, and that mean each and every one. For example: my account went over $1.09 last week and bam! $35 overdraft fee. This can run into the hundreds if your not careful. As soon as I'm able, I'll deposit their required $300 into a checking reserve account so that this is no longer a possibility, unless I overdraw my account by $301.: (
