While recently reviewing my credit report, I learned that a company called Peak 5 reported me as owing $9,000. I had no prior knowledge of this account, and after research, learned this was a debt on an account for which I co-signed in 2004. I attempted to contact Peak 5 on April 24th to obtain a copy of the original contract and a statement and was rudely told they would not help me. The supervisor even used foul language during the course of our discussion. I repeatedly told him I just needed some type of proof and a statement so payment arrangements could be made. Unfortunately, he continued to raise his voice at me and refused to give me anything. He ended the conversation by telling me the credit bureas could not do sh*t for me. I think this is poor business practice, particularly when a customer contacts you to make proper payment arrangements. I wonder how the owner of this company would feel knowing an employee was addressing customers in such a scathing manner.
