Twice in the last year, I have received an in-store refund from a merchant who swiped my Wells Fargo debit card to apply the credit.
Then I have waited three or four days for the credit to appear.
My calls to the Wells Fargo customer service line, plus visits to the branch mangers, resulted in the same reply:
"Give us a few days. Your money will be deposited."
Yes, the money was always eventually deposited.
My question is this: if Wells Fargo can DEBIT my account
INSTANTLY, why does it take 3 or 4 days to CREDIT it?
Assuming that Wells Fargo receives thousands & or millions& of similar credits every day how much free money are they collecting for their own personal investments... Like, say, purchasing another bank?
