This company called with a man named Steve or Teve (depending on how good your hearing is) and said that I owed from a payday loan years ago. He then had information from an old bank account which was not the correct number and the amount of payback was two and a half times the original amount. Any dummy knows if a payday loan company wants their money, they offer settlements. I then told him I would contact the company who supposedly turned this account over.
In addition, I told him I would be contacting the New York Attorney General's office, the NY Secretary of State Office (to ensure business operating compliance), the U.S. Postal Inspection Service and the FBI to make sure they were legitimate. Today is Thursday and they told me I would be in court by Monday. LOL.
Afterwards, the little foreigner started screeaming and shouting about how this debt is important and I told him he should run those scams in his native land but he knows that won't work because all of them are already broke. Anyone who receives a call from these people should just use the information concerning these government agencies and they will back off completely, I promise. I blame the companies that hire these people. Why hire foreigners when good Americans need job. We give these people of foreign descent the tools to come after us. They work in our companies, they answer our phones, they build our computers, and they have access to our information.
