Loan modification? Principal reduction? Sure, you bet!
At least, this is what the sales staff at Sixon / Property Trust Group told me. Of course, I hadn't sent my check in at that time. As soon as I did, as you can imagine, my case began to lose momentum
Lost file? That must be it! Sure Jazz, we misplaced your file, but we're on it now (three weeks after they cashed the certified funds!)
Okay, I can deal with that. So, why did it take another two weeks for the professional mitigator to tell me that the deal I made with my lender [Wells Fargo] months earlier was the best deal I could get? Great job Joe Shuck! A phone call to my lender and Property Trust earns the equivalent of a month's mortgage! What a deal!
This is the question I asked when I requested a refund. A refund guaranteed if the company was unable to procure a deal for me.
So, after a few letters, a conference call with the supposed top tier of the company's hierarchy, and many, many follow up calls, I have yet to receive any satisfaction.
Bottom line, long story short Sixon / Property Trust Group IS the ripoff. Lots of promises, plenty of excuses and a plethora of downright untruths; but NO results.
If any part of this experience was worse than the ripoff itself, it was my subsequent dealings with the con men in charge of this fly-by-night organization. Located in Maryland with loan mitigators in Florida, these artists of deception are pretty well insulated by the respective state laws. This did not stop me from forwarding a detailed portfolio to my state's attorney general.
Certainly, there are many bottom-feeders just like Brookes Bruno and Pablo Troncoso out there in this economic climate. I have come to believe that all of these valueless, immoral men truly get a thrill from taking the hard-earned money from those truly in need of help, all the while making promises they never intend to keep.
