In 04 my husband and I wanted to reduce the amount of credit we were using. We like others decided to re-finance and pay our debts.
We were financed by Accredited and sent to HFC then To HSBC... I thought they were the same company.
IN 2005 my husband and I finally filed Bankruptsy. We didnt want to loose the house so we did not file on it. I believe we had to keep the second mortgage and could not file on it.
I like so many others didnt really have time to do all the reading of the contract. You only have so much time and they are in a hurry and I asked if I needed a lawyer and of course they said no. I didnt know any better at the time. I worked 50 hours a week most of the time and was exhausted.
Here we are 2009. I just now find out about the legal issues both companies have and what they have done. I signed a document for Accredited to fix papers on my mortgage in 2003. Here years later HSBC is using those documents in court. I really got messed over.
Even though now my husband is making much less and I am not working and having a nervous breakdown, now that I have time to see whats happened anyone who did file bankruptsy could have real problems. I never knew they trash your credit report and it could be fixed... So in the first place the numbers were bad on the credit reports that financed anything you own. We are all messed over.
I dont know the laws on on the insurance exc... I do know that when they built my home they have it as a 3 bedroom and its 4 by the contract. Unfair property assessments with who ever did this. Doesnt that mess over taxes. I see nothing but crime in all of it... Now were do I stand. Statues of limitations are what when you find out you did not know they were in trouble with federal law.
Im going through and organizing all of my documents from the time I had this house built. Im loosing no matter what... Our mortgage is now my husbands whole paycheck so you see we did not have christmas... Our electric jumped to $600 for one month. I have all the electric bills I ever received and we are getting ripped off. They need to stop forclosure in florida until this gets straight... Unlawful crooks playing monopoly on the usa
