In July I sent $93,675.80 worth of bad membership accounts for my health club to RRI for collections. As of today, 1/27 RRI has paid me nothing.
I filed a complaint with Florida Secretary of State and they sent me a letter from RRI's attorney Robert Bird stating that they admit to owing me $1893.78 and will pay as soon as possible. They stated that the debt was 60 days late when the letter from Mr Bird was dated four days prior to the debt actually being 90 days late. We have had approximately thirty members come in and demand their membership stating that they paid RRI in full.By my estimate they have probably collected around $ 20,000.00 on my accounts.
On my last conversation with their representative, Tom Graham, (who only answered my call after I faxed him a letter demanding payment) he stated that collection efforts would continue indefinitely, yet he refuses to answer my calls so I am unable to get a status report from him. I cannot believe that the State of Florida would allow an unlicensed company like RRI to just sit there in Sanford Florida collecting money from consumers on behalf of hard working companies and allow them to just keep all of the money. I say unlicensed because that is mentioned in one of the previous complaints in "complaint" and because that is what one of the representatives of the "Florida Secretary of State" told me. My business is not in Florida and I am presently searching for a way to get the FBI involved in this.
I am also searching for an attorney who is interested in the case and I would also like to be contacted by anyone who is in a similar situation with RRI and would like to join me.
