Okay, I feel more than stupid. I could not figure out why I had these charges a year ago. Got it cancelled - now I applied for another loan, and accidently hit the send button... At that exact moment it registers that the box was checked for ID protection.
I tried to cancel that night, but as my email address was not in the system, I could not. I tried to call, but they were closed. I sent in a cancellation the next day. 4 days before they withdrew the funds. I called the day of the transaction and the man referred me to the refund status web page.
Okay... Denied. I called and this crazy, rude woman called me a liar throughout the whole conversation. She had me on speaker phone and I could hear the movie playing in the background. When she looked it up, she said I did not speak with someone on the 7th because I applied after hours. Duh. Did I not say they were closed! She said, well what time do we open. Okay, it is now the 21st... Like I would remember what was on their answering machine.
When I asked about the 3 days to return products and services, she said they don't prorate so I got the month of service. I did not receive any services the last time I had the program.
Stay away from this company. I am hoping to gather enough to file reports with BBB and any other agency.
Most online companies are pleasant and will work with you to resolve any issues - including late payments and payment arrangements.
