Last chance payday... Attempted to get a payday advance but saw id theft protection and some other loan servicing information. There was a open box next to the both of them. I filled in my name and email address at top of site of page, did not check the boxes pertaining to the id theft protection or the loan servicing stuff.
I was still charged for this service even after I hit the big red 'X' at the top right of my browser.
How can an application be processed after exiting from the page and not hitting enter? I contacted them online chat and they cancelled the subscription. What subscription? I want my $31.98 back they took. This was bait-and-switch because when you attempt to go back to this id company (called safeid on my bank statement), it gives you the page of last chance payday with their explanation of what the terms mean as far as agreeing to the id theft protection off to the side of the application. That was not there when I applied. Furthermore, since I didn't mark the boxes, how was I charged?
