Midland Mortgage Co has had my insurance check for over 20 days! It was sent overnight on Dec 16. It is now Jan 15 and I still do not have my check back! I live in a modest 3 BR home with only one bathroom. My bathroom and kitchen had to be gutted to the rafters. I was able to scrap together enough money to get the bathroom half finished but can not even start to rebuild my kitchen. I was fortunate and had Additional Living Expense insurance.
However, after being out of my home for over a month, plenty of time to do the repairs, my insurance company is refusing to pay for the condo I was in. So I am no living with my 12 year old son and my disabled mother in a home with no working kitchen and a bathroom that is not finished.
I have been told everything from the check will go out tomorrow, which it never does, to we have no way of knowing when you will receive the check. I was told by the supervisor Janice that I needed to calm do and understand that even though I was told I would have the check back in 4-7 business days that it would be more like 7-15, and that was on the 18th business day!
I have called every day, multiple times a day. And I am getting nowhere! I sit on hold for anywhere from 2-4 hours a day. I was passed on to a number of different supervisors, Janice, Wanna, Michelle, Tammy, NO ONE CALLS ME BACK! I called Michelle yesterday over 15 times, in one day and NEVER got a call back.
It has been over 4 days since I talked to a humane and not voice mail! I don't know what to do! I am at the mercy of this cold-blooded, dishonest, lying, unprofessional company! I would hate to work for Midland Mortgage, for fear of burning in Hell!
