It has been a few years since I dealt with SMC but my last phone conversation was a reminder why.
Long story short I have a friend who started a store with high volume traffic and was wondering if I would be interested in displaying some merchandise in the store. I have not been current with my SMC membership for two years so I looked into it. I called them and while I was on the phone I was searching their site and about the same time the clown on the other end got back to me I was on the membership rules page on the web. He started on this sales pitch to buy the Gold package. So I kindly let him finish and explained to him rule #7 and which states that your account becomes suspended if in active or minimum purchases were not made but for 74.95 you could reactivate it.
He then had the nerve to say I never paid the full membership fee (b*s*t)
Then he says hold on let me look again at my account. He then comes back and offers me a one year price of $99. I told him I was not interested in this. I just want to reinstate my account. I wanted to talk to a supervisor he just blew me off.
I am not done with them I will get some satisfaction out of this.
