In dealing with this bank, I have had nothing but disappointment, from having to have more than one form of ID to open an account, which is no problem, but even a work ID with a picture name and a ID number would not work, so forget that, I wont even open an account, but after today, when my boyfriend went to cash his paycheck, that is drawn on the Branch where he went to cash check... Well, if you are standing in front of the person, have the picture ID in hand and are told you have to have 2 forms of ID to cash check?
This is a business check, with his name and address, which matches the name and address on his ID. This is just insane, even to write a check at a grocery store you only need one form of ID... But to cash a check, drawn on this bank, you have to have 2 forms of ID, thier answer to this is "Go get a state issued ID and we can help you" Wells Fargo needs to get a grip on reality, not alot of people can afford to go out and spend money to get another ID just to satisfy this requirement.
