Our business signed a merchant services agreement with Heartland Payment Systems approx a year ago. The agreement was set up month to month. No cancellation fee. I have this in writing. We decide to change vendors due to poor service. After sending in a requested cancellation letter my bank acct is billed $295.
The rep on the phone said nothing about this fee when I requested to cancel. I call back to dispute the fee and request a refund. The next rep plays games and claims they can not pull up my business at all. They claim they have no record of it!
I had just spoken to them a week before and they had no problem finding my acct when they thought I was a customer.
I am given the name of Nafi Bendetson as the area mgr in LA. He refuses to return several calls. The rep that set it up I find out is no longer with the Co.
I ask around and find out this company has high turnover and hire commision only sales people. They come and go every month.
I would not do business with Heartland!!!
