This all started 3 years ago. We bought a home in Georgia without really know the area. The appraiser was approved by the lender, Wells Fargo, they only work with approved lenders we were told. The house was inflated because just 1 year later we could not sell it and a realtor told us it was. He said the area was declining and that several homes in the area were rentals and foreclosed on. We kept trying to sell it, but could not.

A year ago we moved to Missouri and rented the house. We thought the down turn would be mild. We ended up making a lot less than expected with the downturn a year ago, and were struggleing to pay for two homes even if one is rented. We have contacted Wells several times and they have refused to short sell or work out any deal with out.

Suddenly my husband was laid off and his industry, Car sales is horrible. He can not find a job and he is trying to do something else while he collects some unemployment. I work for a bank so my job is not real secure either.

We contacted Wells again as we finally had an offer about 47,000. Less than what we paid for the place and it is only worth 108000... Huge loss in a short time huh. Anyhow, they finally said to send the short sale stuff to them since my husband is laid off they would review it.

We have faxed it for $40.00 thru Staples and have the confirmation that it went thru. He called and they told him to mail it and put the loan number on every page because they did not receive the fax??? So we put the loan number on every page and copied it and sent it UPS. The tracking number shows it is there, but they say they don't have it still?

We can not pay for this place and we will be behind a month at the end of December because they will not work with us. The people have been nasty to us, and this time they told us we needed to fax it again. We can not afford to keep doing this. We think they are trying to force us into foreclosure which makes no sense.

If I would have known about the horrible area we would have never bought the place, but Wells Fargo said the appraiser was good so we used him. They even ended up waiving the desk review because the broker called them and asked them too as it was taking too long to close the loan.

I am sure many other people are having these problems, and I would love to see a huge law suit against Wells Fargo. They are certainly not customer service people. Thank you.
