I also experienced my credit point decreased by amex with no caution. I also had a superb check that they refused to recognition. All i obtained was sorry. A repesenative from amex stated characters were sent telling me of the choice. Nicely, i never received the notice, they send mail s for several their sales pitches, why didn"t amex send emails which were sure to reach.
I've an response to them, i'll stop taking their card as of this moment, just like amex did in my experience. If all the smaller businesses did this, perhaps amex will appear up and find out we're a pressure to be heard.
I'll also stop using our amex card individually. Again if we all did this we'd be heard.
