Well This complainter Got a call from A company calling themselves CR Bank Corp... Naturally I new it was a scam from the git go so I milked 'em for as much Info as I could get before I hung up. Of course as I was taliking to them I looked them up here at rip off and didnt see any. (They have many names and I didn't try them all See Beloow for details) I then looked up the BBB in California and Lo and Behold there they were and an Unsatisfactory repeort too (See Below) the offered me a mast card or Visa and a Gas card too for only $150.00 Set up fee. HA State of California law says no business may collect money untill services or goods are rendered.
Any third party advertising the availability of credit cards is required by law to register with the California Attorney General and post a $100,000 bond. Even if registered and bonded, it is unlawful to collect fees before services are performed.
California BBB says this about this company. "We rate this company as having an unsatisfactory business performance record based on a pattern of complaint allegations concerning misrepresentation of the availability of credit cards. Complainants allege receiving telephone solicitations for a credit card offer.
The company promises various incentives such as free cell phones and gas certificates. After obtaining the person's bank account number, they then withdraw anywhere from $150.00 to 250.00 from the account. None of the complainants have received the promised credit card. All complaints remain unanswered"
