They sent me a check for $4,865.00 to deposit in my bank account and told me I had until December 18th to make a decision on accepting their offer to make almost $500. They listed stores I would be evaluating: Home Depot, Gap, JC Penny, Wal-Mart, K-Mart or Sears.
I deposited the check and in 2 days is was cleared and then we spent a small portion of the money and the very next day the check was taken back. Now Citibank is charging us $3,000 something odd dollars for overdraft, which was their mistake because they approved the check in 2 days and trying to hold us liable. That can cause us to become become homeless and all my husband's VA Pension to be taken.
