In January we were approached by two salesmen who on a worksheet (which I have a copy of) showed us how we will be saving hundreds of dollars over 4 years if we switched our services to their company. They apparently were going to reduce our credit card and check processing rates substantially and therefore got us to sign a lease for equipment saying it was necessary to have this equipment to receive the services from them. We were told that the amount of our savings over the four years would be double what we would be paying for the equipment.
We were told and signed a lease for $69.99 a month for credit card terminal equipment from MBF leasing. The actually price was actually more like $80 a month because of required insurance, taxes, and fees added on.
After serveral months after checking that our statements were a lot higher than promised by the sales persons we realized we had been scammed. The sales people did not tell us or work out on the worksheet that the credit card processing fees would increase every february - as well as all of the other fees and taxes were not disclosed to us. We determined that we would not be saving 100's of dollars but in fact loosing 1000's of dollars with this deceptive company.
We are more than happy to provide any information for a class action suite. If there are any out there successful in bea
