Citibank owns AT&T Universal Card.
They raised interest rates on August 24th. They buried the rate raise on the last page of the monthly statement in smaller ink that the rest of the statement. I have automatic payments so I read the line-item charges monthly but did not notice this rate increase. And they are raising rates while mortage and car rates are dropping!
Citibank is also dropping all VISA accounts and re-issuing customers MASTERCARD accounts. This move saves them money, but they are not passing along any savings to the consumers. Citibank is no longer very consumer friendly.
