There is already a report on this guy, to which "Sam Baum", whom is really Edan Aharony gave a horrible rebuttal. Well here's a bit more on this issue.
Before changing formats to Edgetraders.com to hide away from his old name tradingzoo.com, MP, AKA Sam, AKA Edan Aharony posted fantastic positive results daily. Results the best of the best could only dream of.
He then goes on to advertise in the room, to members already payed 6k to join, that he runs a fund called Magnolia Management. Anyone in their right mind seeing results like he trades posted everyday on tradingzoo's site, would agree this is a fund to get involved in. WRONG! In fact, to show the posted results were farce and also acting to advertise for his fund, he posted a great loss in November (I have screenshots) and then a supposed great recovery the next - These two days worth of results soon disappeared from the site because it quote "kept more people from joining his fund". Not to mention, none of the results from the fund would ever coincide with his TradingZoo performance. As it would turn out, Edan doesn't actually trade to those supposed rules and setups he teaches in his $6,300 course, in fact he trades horrendously to put it nicely!
Oversized lot size risked per trade, as if he were granted a $0.50 margin, would never get more than 2 ticks profit, twice a week if we were lucky. But then came about the fact that he used NO STOPS. This is wreckless and illegal. Mirus knew this, and even began autoplacing 5 point stops onto his trades, well after it was too late for me.
My family lost upwards of $100k, in about 2 trades which he executed. Funny thing is, we only gave power of attorney to SAM BAUM, he answered to this name, and even his Mirus broker let us call him this and never once mentioned that it was a farce name. Sooo, if Sam Baum doesn't exist, and Mirus Futures knows only to let Sam Baum other than myself to trade the account, all while I did NOT do so, may I ask how did my account drop to almost nothing in 2 trades in a course of 2 months? Fraudulent Conveyance.
I've also been made aware that he's been reported recently to federal authorities, so we'll see what happens to that. I highly doubt he'll be able to hold onto his license after this is all said and done.
Edan, you already know who I am. You have no rebuttal, do not say we earned 100% before loss, as we did not. I have statements to back that fact, jack. Or is your name Modanna today? Even your new guy already quit in just a week, perhaps to keep himself out of a legal hurricane. Who can blame him?!
Moral of the story, it does not cost $6300USD to learn simple technical analysis, and then have "Zone Trader" read to you by a man who must've started smoking Reds when he was 8. Read through the sure to come rebuttal, he provides NO fact just like on the other report, he just spouts the exact dialouge he reads to novie traders in his "trial weeks" to sell his system that makes him sound smart. Let me assure you, in an entire year of being a member, I must of kept missing the psychological aspect of trading lesson, because I never heard anymore about it than from his pitch to free trial members, every other week...
