This past year, my spouse and that I bought furniture through Wickes furniture shop and obtained credit through Citibank for that purchase. We obtained a Wickes shop card and 12 weeks to repay the furniture. 6 months later, Wickes declared bankruptcy. Ever since then we've obtained no conversation from Citibank concerning the bankruptcy and just how it'd influence our credit line.

I called Citibank to repay the total amount in the purchase to see what we are able to do to move the credit line to anything functional. I had been educated from the customer support person who the credit line is ineffective but I still need to obtain to shut it. She also explained that, though she may take my cost by phone, she can only just have a check or bank card (no charge cards) and he or she needs to cost me a $15 charge to consider the cost by phone. $15 is just a silly amount of cash to cost to create a cost when no additional organization, including my additional charge card, costs any charge at-all for telephone and online payments. Citibank, she informs me does not actually provide an internet payment choice.

Bad customer support, bad conversation, absurd costs. Personally I think significantly robbed and certainly will never conduct business together again.
