IRS.com is deceptive; by using this name, they are deceiving people into believing that they are using the true IRS site (which I found out is actually IRS. Gov). I believed that I was at the IRS site, but I found out, unfortunately, one day later after filing, that I had been deceived.
They also charged $49.90 for processing and filing fees. I did know there was a charge for filing until at the end of the process. It would have been free if I had gone to the true IRS site.
