Today while checking bank transactions I noticed a charge which seemed suspect. I clicked on the the bank pending charge to obtain more information and there was none. I googled dri. Elements.com and did not find the company but did come accross the complaint and read about someone else being ripped off by the same company and charging the same amount of $29.95.
I immediately called Bank of America and reported the fraud. Bank of America cancelled my check card to prevent future charges.
Online fraud finally came home. I am in total disbelief that someone can obtain your bank information and charge something to your account with out previous authorization.
From this day forward, I will be more vigilant of my bank transactions and pay more attention to the sites I visit on the internet.
According to someone who filed a report on this site, their $29.95 charge came after visiting a site.
Be on the look out. If it happened to me, it can happen to anyone.
