Credit Card Ripoffs Scams

I recevied this approved letter from this company stating that I, out of all people with good credit, had been approved for two credit cards with a credit line up to $10,000. It was very persusive, it was on very nice paper, and it stated it's guarantees.

It only asked for a $29.00 processing fee. But being that I have been ripoffed before, I decided to check this famous site that stays UPDATED on scams to consumers.

I would like for everyone to have common sense when dealing with people over the phone or reading solicited mail offerings. Come on everyone, why in the world would a company give a consumer some of there money/collateral when another prestigous company's
(that have been around for DECADES) turn us down because of bad credit.

Why would they make us pay a upfront fee when they have there own processing department. Don't get me wrong, yes I fell for one about a year ago, but this is your turn to recognize scams like this. I've read plenty of articles on this site where people are falling for the same thing over and over again.

Every time i get any offerings in the mail, i check them out on three sites, usacomplaints.com, bbb.com, and your state local bbb. One more thing to remember if you have bad credit, don't try to obtain credit from anyone because everyone will turn you down, except scam artist.

They all share your information on a network thing. Once you fall for one they pass your information to others. Even if you don't fall for one they'll send you one with different information in a different form with different locations. The best thing to do to build your credit is to save up and try to pay off all your debts with your own finances; not others (credit cards). Look out for ones with phony websites too.

GOOOD LUUCK in the FUTURE!!! Most scam artist aren't caught until years later.
