Where should I start? This company has ruined my life! I fell into a slump where I was laid off and not able to pay my car note one month. On the day it was due, they called me and asked why they have not received it. I explained and asked if there were any arrangement I could make? At first, they agreed, then I was not able to find a job so it became a nightmare. I was behind on everything, so when I did get money it had to go towards my house note and gas/lights first and then CPS. Because they were not getting the full amount when they could not get in touch with me they called my family and everyone in the phone book with my last name. I had people I did not know calling me saying CPS is looking for you about your car. They started calling my neighbors and telling them about what was going on.
I finally got a job and they started calling my job and then would get mad and smart with my co workers when they said I was not there. I have never in my life been through anything like this before.
After trying to pay them numerous times through the mail, they was not happy with that. They wanted me to send a Moneygram. I barely have the money to pay them so a moneygram was out of the question.
Finally, I could not take it anymore and told them to come get the car. Afterwards, the sent me a letter saying I owed them 6,000 dollars because they sold the car for only 8,000. I said I only owed 12,000 so that should be 4,000? They started sending me threating letters about garnishments and finally an attorney started harassing me. I explained to him that I could pay them but not how much they wanted a month. Now I have people putting judgments on my door and sending them certified in the mail. I am so tired of this company. I am also trying to contact a class action attorney. This company has gone WAY over the line.
