Is it not fraud for fifth third bank to charge NSF charges when the account is, in fact, not overdrawn? I have been doing business with a bank named First Charter for years. Earlier this year 5/3 took over. I have never been charged NSF charges before, while having a positive balance, but can't say that anymore.
What really stinks of fraud or scam is the fact that I saw where my daily balance was positive, but my available balance was negative, so I took a cash (CASH) deposit to the bank to protect myself. I was charged 4 NSF fees for 4 charges that did not post for 3 days after the charges. My deposit was ignored. I was charged the NSF fees regardless. To add insult to injury, my account never fell into negative territory, even after the NSF charges. Is this not fraudulent?
