I signed a 3 year land contract with Jerry Wallace on May 9th. I wrote him a check for $10,000.00 as a payment towards the $170,000.00 agreed purchase price. $300.00 of my $800.00 a month house payment was to go towards the purchase of the house. On January 7 he sold my house to William Peterson who does not have my contract and did not know of this agreement. No one can come up the contract. Jerry Wallace will not return any of my calls and I am missing the first page of the land contract which I believe was withheld from me in the very beginning from Jerry Wallace.
In all Jerry Wallace owes me $20,800.00 and I want my money, especially my $10,000.00 down payment on the house. I am a single mother of 2 and now I have to pack up and move because they have taken all of what I had. I thought I was starting a good life with my kids but Jerry has taken that away. I am very upset and wish to do what ever I need to do to get my money back.
