Our son has been bullied at King Elementary School since day one. We always tell him "no fighting" and we make him tell an adult. The problem is that when he tells the teacher in charge or the principal they tell him to stop being a tattletale!
Recently he was caught defending himself and the prinicpal, Mrs. Renee Wallace called us to tell us what happened and that he has an in-house suspension this week. My better half told her "good for him" for defending himself. Mrs. Wallace immediately hung up on her!
I put my shoes on and rushed over there to speak with Mrs. Wallace. First thing I said was that I wanted to know why she was rude to her on the phone. She said that she was yelling at her and I cut her off before she could finish. I told her that she is lying and I was sitting right there and there was no yelling. I told her that she had a few minutes to explain herself why she was unable to run the school and protect my child. She got pissed and threw me out of the school!
I want to know WHY every day my son would tell an adult in that school that his hair was being pulled or he was knocked down and kids were jumping on his chest, when he has asthma, and they don't do anything. Yet when my son defends himself, they immediately suspend him!
Mrs. Wallace is incapable of supervising children and should be fired immediately. I am doubting any credentials that she may have supplied the school district that got her that job.
