After 15 years of using the chase credit card, thru my university, i cancelled it. I was 8 days late making a payment and it cost me about $75. I asked for some sort of adjustment and the response was... No no no. I asked to speak with a supervisor... No no no. I asked for the tele number for the corp office and... There isnt one, send them a letter. Given the level of customer service i have so far received, what is the likely hood that someone in a cube will actually read my letter and respond to me... Not much.
Lots of other local banks that like working with individuals and small biz owners (thats me). So, i will just find one.
Chase card services needs to get a little more customer friendly especially with those of us who really dont abuse our credit card use. I pay off my balance every month... I think that is the real problem.
Beware of chase and shop around. They are a very frustrating company to work with.
