Fortunately, i checked the internet when you failed to e-mail the documents you promised and i was stunned to read the seemingly endless complaints against afr.
For me, it all began on 6/18/08 when peter kean from afr contacted me because i had contacted lending tree. Kean set everything up and then suddenly stopped returning my calls after i paid new york appraisers $325.00 out of my own pocket. I finally was told by some afr broker named dan that kean had been fired for: "being an incompetent idiot". Dan claimed he was a vice president, that my stats were excellent and he'd handle the closing.
Then "vp" dan stopped returning my calls (at least 12 messages) and i got rob capner who told me my stats were excellent, that he wasn't surprised dan didn't return my calls because he was: "an idiot". Rob capner told me he was an afr vice president and that he'd handle the closing. He apologized profusely for the delays and promised to finish things up immediately.
In the interim i asked for a copy of the appraisal for my records which i'd paid ny appraisers $325.00 cash for and afr repeatedly promised me the appraisal but never sent it. Finally, ny appraisers sent it in an e-mail after i threatened to sue them.
Well, vp rob capner disappeared and when i called on 8-07 i got you, vice president of afr, darren d'angelis 800-316-9508; cell: 973-964-4267. You claimed that you couldn't understand the problem and promised that you would e-mail my ill wife and i the documents with relevant figures. You never did.
However, after reading on the web that other people consider your firm rip-offs i'll never deal with you and will do everything at my disposal to expose you for the fraud's others say afr is and my experience has more than supported. You ought to be ashamed. I will be complaining to the bbb, attorney generals - new york and new jersey and anyone else i can think of.
You owe me $325.00 for the bogus appraisal i paid for in good faith. What, do you split the money with your appraisal company. You bet i'm furious. Your wrongful business practices have wasted my time, lowered my credit score and now i find out your credit bureaus sell my name and others seeking mortgages to mortgage companies who seek info from the three credit bureaus and damage my credit rating even more.
You've not heard the last of me by a long shot, sharpie. I pity anyone who has to eek out a living taking advantage of other people who trusted you. What goes around comes around - as i am sure you will soon learn in a most unpleasant manner and the wonderful thing is, i don't need to raise a finger, and i won't, you'll do it all to yourself.
I only truly pity your family. You and your company, afr, is obviously part of the huge mortgage crisis destroying so many family's dreams to own a home. What's the difference between you and a bank robber?
