Well as I can clearly see, I am not the only customer affected by wachovia's unethical banking practices so I am not going to bore anyone with the details of my plight but I will tell you all what I plan to do. Since wachovia is so concerned with squeezing every red cent they can from loyal customers, I will make it my mission to cost them as much money as possible.
I am going to open an account with a new banking institution while retaining my wachovia account (which has no monthly charges) with a balance of 1 cent. I will then proceed to visit a teller once to twice a month to make a deposit of 1 cent. When the balance reaches $1.01, I will again visit a teller to make a $1 withdraw and begin the process over again.
I will make it my mission to cost wachovia as much money in operating expenses (employee wages just for my 1 cent deposit) and materials (deposit slips, receipts, etc.) as they have attempted to swindle from me.
