This company claims to be a financial institution that finances magazine subscriptions. There's only one problem to that... THEY'RE NOT! At least, you can't prove that to me.

First of all, what reputable financial company employs CSRs that are rude, highly sarcastic, and even result to using profanity when talking to a concerned customer? None that I'm aware of, but this one does. Samantha receives the aware for the most out of touch CSR in history. She also carries the alias "Customer Service" when asked politely for her name. Careful though, she's quick to the cut off button.

Secondly, this company has chosen a person with an extensive vocabulary, high level of anxiety, and a willingness to over talk the customer to be the "Director of the Service Center" (I think he made that one up). Eric Ball, estemed unprofessional, spent a total of three phone calls trying to convince me he was smarter than I by simply yelling at me about how horrible his life is.

To sum this all up, this company is a SCAM! They concocted a recording that they tried to pass off as my elderly mother giving them permission to bill her for magazines in which she hasn't even received. It was painfully clear this was NOT my mother's voice, the few mumbles of "yea" and "uh huh" they managed to muster up, but Eric did not want to back down.

The conversation escalated to the point of Eric verbally abusing me, talking rapidly and continually, and REFUSING to even give me basic information such as the owner's name. All he would say is "that's public record, look it up yourself." I had to call back 3 times (after being hung up on) just to get the mailing address. He was very upset when I wouldn't listen to how miserable he was, enough so that he yelled at me to "shut my mouth and listen." I promptly said a few choice words and hung up. Please keep in mind, I never lost my cool with him, I was only asking for a name and address and occasionally asking him why he was so angry with me. Great Director, don't you think?

I have reported them to the BBB and the Federal Consumers. Unfortunately, there is nothing on the internet to provide me with any information other than that which I was able to drag out of Eric. I just wanted to bring this to everyone else's attention just in case anyone runs into the Dynamic Duo of Customer Service like I did.
