Instead of helping me resolve my debt, they kept 75% of the payments I made to them that were suppose to go to my creditors. After 7 months of payments, my creditors/collection agencies were still calling, my balances were still growing and my credit was getting worse. I told them I no longer wanted their services and ask for the 1,500 dollars I had given them back, minus their "administrative" fee. Turns out they only sent me a check for $350. WHAT THAT *!
I really got taken on this. I had been unknowingly simply giving these people a quarter of my paychecks and would NOT be making any progress whatsoever towards reducing my debt. They have only worsened my financial situation and refused to give me my money back. After a morning of crying to them on the phone of how I am just a 25 year old girl trying to support herself and correct some poor financial situations, they hung up on me. I do have to say that horrible as I feel I have learned a VERY important lesson about trusting others to help me with my money.in reality, no one can ever know how to better manage my hard earned money than me. Hopefully others can avoid this very painful lesson.
