I have not CSR yet, nor do I intend to keep this account open. Another report filed has indicated the WaMu CSR's aren't to keen on keeping their customers who continue to make payments on time and more than the minimum amount due. I have good credit and I have not opened any additional accounts, so I'm baffled as to the hike in rate.
The only reason for the increase I can come up with is I made a purchase of $245 for a new computer monitor last month. Now WaMu wants to charge me 17.99% for my previous purchases that I agreed to pay at 9.9%. This is unfair business and to be considered theft. Write your congressmen and state legislators if this has happened to you! I certainly will! Do not do business with this bank!
