Anyone getting ripped off by excessive overdraft fees on debit card? I have been ripped off excessively by Regions Bank.
Another person filed a report and the response from the bank was "a debit card is like your checking account... You should write checks, keep a record, and develop good habits".
The bank obviously denies charges eventually, right? How far is "far enough" to go into the negative before it stops approving them? There should be no overdrafts because the technology is there to not allow ANY overdraft. This is yet another money making scheme.
Well guess what? ING Direct offers an account WITH NO OVERDRAFT CHARGES! I'm gone Regions. You suck anyway.
