Regions has the say in what transactions come through when to benefit themselves to in order to collect overdraft charges!

Regions is a rip off! When looking over my on-line statement, I noticed I was sent into overdraft for charges that did not leave a negative balance on the statement provided to me online. It wasn't until after the $140 dollars was applied that I actually went into overdraft.

When I called to ask why I recieved overdraft charges, I was told it was because there were pending amounts that needed to come through, however on my actual statement those amounts did not come through until 2 days later. So I could not understand why I was charged $140 in overdraft fees for the transactions, when it clearly shows they did not put the account in overdraft. The tricky part is that the amounts shown on my statement do not add up? When the agent read off to me transaction by transaction, the totals she said were totally different then what was made available to me on my statement. I wonder why they do this? Also, if there were pending transaction that are not shown below, that caused my account to go into overdraft before these charges were accumulated, then why was my card not declined? This is a prime example of how banks cheat customers to collect those overdraft fees. They pick and choose, and rearrange transactions to benefit themself! Our banks should be more clear and accurate when calculating someone else's money. This is sad. 09/21 atm debit clr $3.79 $0.69 09/21 chk crd clr $8.66 $4.48 09/21 chk crd clr $11.99 $13.14 09/21 chk crd clr $13.59 $25.13
