I accepted a 0% balance transfer offer from this bank and made timely payments. Unknown to me, my June payment was never credited even though I mailed in in May. This prompted National City to charge me "88 in late fees and finance charges and increase my loan rate to 9.99%.
I have NEVER before had anything "lost in the mail" nor have I EVER paid a late fee.
Is "lost in the mail and never received" a new way for this bank to rid themselves of inprofitable accounts???
