Aug my mother had two mini strokes and in Jan I found out she was behind of a mortgage loan with Citifinancial and they were going to foreclose on her house. I have since taken over as Power of Attorney and pay her bills now. I had to pay $4800 to keep them from foreclosing on her house. Apparently, she had a loan for $37,000 with them.
When I contacted the Jackson office to find out what, when and how the loan was distributed to her they referred me back to the foreclosure 800 number. They in turn sent me to customer service. Customer service sent me a copy of a loan that she had gotten in May for $3000 which has where they pay her taxes, apprasier.
On there is showed existing loan for $34,000 with Citifincial. She has had memory lose and can't remember when or what happened to the money. I have talked to at least ten people called several numbers and no one can seem to find when or how a loan of that size was distributed to her.
